Up for sale is a vintage/antique Art Nouveau ring featuring a large amethyst-colored stone and a beautiful filigree silver setting.
This ring belonged to my great aunt. It is most certainly old and is NOT a newer ring.
Stone might be glass, might be a genuine amethyst, I am honestly not sure.
Measures almost a size 5 on the mandrel. (More like a
4 3/4)
Ring is not marked- either it was sized in the past or any stamping has been worn off, but it has been tested by a reputable jeweler who confirmed that it tests as silver.
In good, vintage condition, with wear commensurate with age; some small chipping to the stone and some wear to the band.
**PLEASE NOTE THAT THE STONES’ SETTING- TOP AND BOTTOM- IS SLIGHTLY BENT AND THE STONE JIGGLES A LITTLE BIT; Could use a minor amount of adjustment from a jeweler.
